Finally the end of the Mexico City Trip

So here they finally are, the final pictures from Mexico City. These pictures were taken on our second day in Mexico City. We spent the day at el Zocalo and we visited the Castle of Cortez also known as Chepultepec and the Museum of Anthropology. Enjoy.
A monument is in honor of the last battle that was fought against the United States.

Looking in the opposite direction of the monument.

Chepultepec

A mural of the famous hero. The story is that during the war the U.S was about to get Mexico's flag and the boy decided that he would rather die than let the U.S have the flag. So he grabbed the flag and jumped to his death. He was only 13.

Ana, Kate and I on the patio of Chepultepec, overlooking the city.

Another view from the patio. As you can see there is the angel once again.

The Castle.

This is where the boy jumped from.

A fountain and statues dedicated to the boy hero's that died in the battle.

The courtyard on the top roof of the castle.

The museum of Antropology.

The original sun clock.

Mother Earth.

yeah you know me, trying to be a part of history.
