One More Reason. . .

I couldn't be more proud to be Mexican. . . . we sure do know how to party. Yesterday was our mom's sisters birthday, so our aunt. We were a little late to church, and what did our mom do, made us sit in the front row, so everyone knew we were late. After church we headed over to the gardens where the party was being held. The place was behind a large wooden gate so from the street one would have no idea what it was. Once inside we drove down a dirt path with huge beautiful trees on both sides. Then after we parked our cars there was a path to get to the garden it was breath taking. The whole place looked like a Thomas Kincaid painting. I think he came down here and this is where he got the inspiration. Anyway like usual the food was delicious, Carnitas, rice and beans. There was mariachi and a live band. It was a great time. Below are some pictures.

Mom's Family. She told us she is one of thirteen but that there are only five left. One couldn't make it because she was sick. From Left to right: Mom's Brother, Mom, The Birthday Girl Celia, and another sister Yolanda.
